Our customer - ABC Group of Companies is a global based manufacturer with headquarter in Canada and a world leader in plastics processing. ABC Group’s core business (as Automotive Tier-1 Supplier) is the design, development and production of plastic automotive systems and components for automotive OEMs worldwide.
The ABC Automobil-Formteile GmbH in Rüsselsheim is leading all Business Development Activities for the European Operations and development projects out of Europe.
For our customer’s on-going expansion we are looking for result focused professionals who like to work as a part of small local team in a global structure as a:
Project engineer (m/f) & Program Manager (m/f)
Place of work: Rüsselsheim/Germany
Your responsibilities as project engineer & program manager:
• Quote new programs, engineering cost and manage program cost according customer requirement and request
• lead (development) projects from concept to production
• Implement APQP per design stage (D/P-FMEA, Gauge review, process flow…)
• Manage the required tooling and process design through APQP
• Analyse and implement on-going process improvements to running production
• Initiate, participate or lead advanced product development projects
In addition to above mentioned responsibilities the Program Manager will mentor and direct engineers and technical support resources. ABC will give a chance to young professionals to start their career as a project engineer. Based on the experience level of the project engineer and the type of project the project involvement will be determined.

From a potential job applicant for the position of the program manager and the project engineer we expect in your profile, but not limit to:
• Engineering degree in Plastics or Mechanical Engineering (preferably with Blow/Injection Moulding) or equal
• For the project engineer position ABC also considers young professional/students with final degree
• If you apply as program manager minimum 5 years experience in project/process engineering within the automotive industry (preferably with Blow/Injection Moulding) are mandatory
• knowledge of APQP/PPAP/FMEA, for program manager intense knowledge required
• willingness to travel to customers/suppliers as required
• Strong communication in English and/or German (Spanish is a benefit)
• proficient software knowledge (MS-Office incl. MS Project)
